Oniel G. Bailey BSc

Engineer • Project Manager • Children's Advocate

Mr. Bailey is an Engineer specializing in Construction Project Management for the past 30+ years with a ninety-eight percent completion of agricultural engineering, construction, and education projects in all the parishes in Jamaica.

He also studied Technology Commercialization at the Canadian University of Calgary, Haskayne School of Business at the Post Graduate level. He completed a nonprofit organization Financial Stewardship study at Harvard, Kennedy Executive School.

Mr. Bailey is now the Programs Manager, currently involved in developing projects and programmes with Unitas of Jamaica.

Oniel is an experienced and passionate children’s advocate devoted to creating an environment for optimum development—particularly for young children. He shares a vision for transformation by laying the foundation for lifelong learning and an improved quality of life for community development.

Mr. Bailey believes in volunteering as a GOD-given talent, especially in nonprofit organizations. He has been directly involved in a range of program development and service delivery activities—integrated programming for holistic community development, establishing learning environments, income-generating projects, developing training materials, and executing training programmes with education professionals and field practitioners.

During his time in project management, he had direct responsibility for coordinating and implementing multi-faceted projects. His duties included developing terms of reference, engaging and executing consultant assignments, organizing workshops for technical professionals, facilitating community support and participation, leading public education campaigns, fostering international collaboration, handling independent consultancy assignments, and developing project proposals to solicit funding support.
